Backwards
some mazes are easier from the end.
a hand-drawn maze that forks and forks from start but runs straight home from end: draw from either word to the other without crossing a line
From Daniel Fabe Schmidt's book Maze Structure: some mazes branch going forward and narrow going back. These are grown outward from start, so from end every fork has one way that heads home. Working backwards from the answer is a way to solve problems too.
Concepts: mazes, planning, strategy.
