Pitchcraft
two tones, closer and closer. hear the gap shrink — in you.
an adaptive pitch-discrimination staircase — real ear-training, tracked over days
Each pair of tones starts far apart and steps closer every time you get it right, farther apart every time you don’t, until it finds the smallest gap you can still actually hear, measured in cents — hundredths of a semitone. That threshold is a real, trainable skill: come back on other days and the number this staircase settles on should keep dropping.
Concepts: pitch, hearing.
