Walker

your line keeps walking. the shape is how you moved.

draw one stroke and lift: it walks off across the paper repeating your hand, at your speed, forever

A line you draw is usually a shape, a thing that stays where you put it. Here it is a recording instead: every frame of your stroke is stored as a step, how far and which way the finger moved, and when you lift, a head starts playing those steps back from where you stopped, on a loop, at the pace you made them. That is why the walker goes where it goes. A loop that returned to its start only turns in place; a squiggle that drifted right keeps drifting right; a pause is a pause, and ink pools there. Three dots on the page give the walker somewhere to go, and the top and bottom rules give it somewhere to die. The mechanic is from Blek, whose whole game is inside that one rule.

Concepts: motion, pattern.
